Moose Anderson Days will be riding in on the winds of spring April 24-25 at Jawbone Station in Cantil, according to Friends of Jawbone president, Ed Waldheim.

This is the 14th year for the desert clean up event named in honor of Mark "Moose" Anderson who served on California's first Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Commission. He was later involved in a motorcycle accident in Baja, from which he eventually died.  When Jawbone Station was built in 1996, the building was dedicated in Anderson's memory. 

Friends of Jawbone (FOJ) a nonprofit organization, with a cooperative Agreement with the Bureau of Land Management's Ridgecrest Field Office, invites you to review and comment on the 2010 applications we have submitted to the California Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR).  The public review and comment period will run from Tuesday, March 2 through Monday, April 5.
